Founded in 1996, SPI High School Study Abroad Programs offers high quality French, Italian, Chinese, and Spanish language immersion summer programs exclusively for high school students. We believe traveling abroad helps students develop independence and maturity by expanding their knowledge of the world and increasing their understanding of other cultures.

All SPI Study Abroad programs are unique and personalized global experiences designed to build leadership qualities that help students succeed both in college and in their future endeavors.     Teen Language Immersion

    On every SPI high school study abroad program, the classroom takes a back seat to conversations with locals, exciting activities around the city, and weekend journeys to places where history, art, and culture come to life. SPI language immersion programs for teens help students prepare for making high scores on the AP/IB exams and provide an opportunity to earn additional credits before entering college!

    Global Leadership

    SPI teen language immersion programs are coupled with a unique Global Leadership component which provides an added emphasis on international business, leadership, and college prep. Leadership activities include in person visits and meetings with local business leaders, government officials, and educational institutions.
