What a fabulous first few days in Madrid we had! As we’ve begun to settle into daily life here in Spain, we’ve also had a chance to reflect on this weekend & all the great things we saw and did — whether it was scaling the Alcázar in Segovia, taking an impromptu tour of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, or just soaking in the sights and sounds of local Madrileño life & culture, there was never a dull moment!

The Madrid Experience enjoyed touring gorgeous Toledo, in addition to exploring the many historic sites of Madrid — these sites included Palacio Cibeles, Museo Reina Sofia, Puerta del Sol, the Palacio Real, and Plaza Mayor, to name a few! Check out a couple photos from the Experience below (and for more photos, be sure to “Like” our Facebook page):

Having the chance to explore the incredible city of Toledo is truly one of the best parts of the Madrid Experience!

Loved our special tour of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid 🙂

Summer 1, Month 1 & 6-Week groups arrived on Saturday — we really enjoyed touring all the major Madrid cultural hot spots! Our day began at Puerta del Sol, the center point of the city. From there, we headed to Plaza Mayor (Madrid’s main square), Cibeles, and the Plaza y Fuente. We got a good night’s sleep before departing for beautiful Segovia the next morning!
